Arts House Dance Company [AHDC], founded in 1985, is known for its strong technique, innovative student choreography, and vivid stage presence. AHDC primarily performs jazz, contemporary, ballet, tap, and hip-hop but our members come from diverse training backgrounds. Student-run and student-choreographed, AHDC is dedicated to presenting the highest level of performance and technique at Penn.

To help maintain and improve our technique, we hold weekly ballet and jazz classes with professionals from the Philadelphia dance community. In the fall, Arts House performs in a collaboration show with an a-cappella group, and in the Spring performs a solo show. In addition to these two major performances, we can be seen all over campus, performing at fraternity and sorority coffee houses, charity benefits, university-sponsored events (including Freshman Performing Arts Night, Family Performing Arts Night, Senior Performing Arts Night, Making History Campaign, and Spring Fling), and even dance clubs in downtown Philly!
